San Marco – Lezione 1 – Percorsi di autonomia PNRR 1.2: partenza delle attività con Kairos

What project is this?

Start in San Marco Argentano, it was possible to thanks to the coordination of the planning Office of the Territorial Social San Marco Argentano, thank you for the technical and organizational support, then we will know the various members who have made this project possible. The activities that fall within theInvestment 1.2 – “Pathways to independence for people with disabilities” of Mission 5, Component 2 (social Services, disabilities, and social marginality) of The National plan for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR)funded by the european Union – NextGenerationEU. The investment supports health and social care services and community designed to promote the independence of people with disabilities, also in the perspective of independent living and social inclusion.

Institutions involved

The program is organized and coordinated at the national level from the Unit Mission PNRR at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and by the Directorate General for the Fight against Poverty and Social Programming. At the local level, the Territorial Social (ATS) to San Marco Argentano is the implementing body of the line of investment 1.2. The Plan Office of the ATS of San Marco Argentano ensures the direction and the operational coordination of activities in the area; we would like to thank the members of the Office to Plan for the continued collaboration.

Entity manager

The Cooperative VitaSi manages the entire project on the territory, ensuring the operational organization, the coordination of the educational activities and the integration with the services of the territory.

Startup location and local network

The first activity were carried out at Kairos APS – Association of Social Promotion to San Marco Argentano, a company that offers personalized services, multi-disciplinary and inclusive for children and adults with Disorders of Neurodevelopment. Participated and welcomed the dr. ssa Pasqualina Boy (President) and the dr. ssa Mary Garofalo (Educationist), referrals, and Kairos.

A special thanks to the members of the Office of the Plan of San Marco Argentanoin the preparatory stages and in the organization of the first activity, in synergy with Cooperative VitaSi (entity manager) and Kairos APS (home start).

Lesson 1: Course Presentation and Writing on the PC

The inaugural lecture it was dedicated to the presentation of the project to the participants and families: goals, calendar, mode inclusive (times flexible, visual supports, accessibility settings).
The practical part has expected write to PC to familiarize yourself with the keyboard and posture, using the exercises guided AgileFingers – a useful tool to improve the pace and accuracy of typing with immediate feedback.

Why digital autonomy matters

Talk about autonomy digital it means strengthening skills useful in everyday life: write a message, search for information, fill in forms, study and communicate with greater independence. The path integrates dimensions of educational and rehabilitation in synergy with the network of services, enhancing the strengths of each person and respect the learning curve.
